Tarot Themed Talisman Shadow Boxes
Osvaldo creates Tarot and art themed Talisman -Shadowboxes. The ones I've seen over the years on visits to Il Meneghello were larger and more elaborate then the Chariot shown below, but this one is my treasure... These shadowboxes are truly magical and present many familiar archetypes, intuitively collaged onto wooden shapes, in rhythmic 3 dimensional styles. They are encased in hand-tooled wooden boxes and have Osvaldo's signature and wax seal.

The Chariot Talisman Box
Dimensions: 15'' tall by 7'' wide, 2''inches deep.
38 cm tall x 17.78 wide x 5.08 cm. deep.
Outside the box was collaged with Tarot themed papers. Visconti inspired shapes accent the top. Inside the glass showcase - many wooden forms are decorated with cards. A Visconti card often inspires the theme and acts as a centerpiece. Tarot scrolls, a wax seal, as well as his name inscribed on a gold plate add a dramatic touch.
