The Tobacco Tarot is a small set of Trumps, each presenting an aspect of the tobacco culture (specifically pipes & cigars) represented by the Major Arcana. It was published in a limited, numbered series in Italy and also distributed by U.S. Games. The paper 'wrap around' inner sleeve that keeps the cards intact, looks like a cigar wrapper seal and has an image of a dog and an old Il Meneghello address. This set originally came in a charming silver metal snuff box (shown).
* Note this is not to be confused with another deck published by Il Meneghello a year later (1981) which was called 22 Arcani Fumatori/22 Arcana Smokers. This other deck (I 22 Arcani Fumatori) is also small but of a different style and is an edition of 2500 copies (with an additional 1000 distributed by U.S. Games) and came in a cardboard slip cover box.
