Four of Coins - Nothing risked nothing gained

A person seeming destitute in the midst of material wealth. Maybe it is financial worry or insecurity. Or perhaps the focus on obtaining material possessions has robbed the soul of any love of life. An image of a castle looms in the background and Death rakes in the material possessions with her scythe. A reflection from a distant past reaches out from the mirror.

Meanings: Security and the sense of identity based primarily upon having or obtaining material possessions. Desire for wealth and it's potential for power. It can also imply the ability to make a profit. Nothing risked, nothing gained. One must oil the wheel to keep it going. Reversed: It can signify feelings of undeservedness or an insecurity caused by financial delays. The fear of not having enough or the worry that there isn't enough to go around.
