Osvaldo Menegazzi created this deck to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Futurist Movement that's currently going on in Italy (in 2009). With a quick 'google' search many interesting sites can be found with information pertaining to this short lived but influential art movement, which developed in Italy around the same time as Cubism began in France, but here is one worthwhile link. This is a deck of fantastic, brightly colored symbols and designs based on the 22 Major Arcana. The matching hand-crafted box is equally fabulous. They may all be different but the one received from Osvaldo in April '09 has titles from the various cards in this deck fastened to the box in such a way as if shouting upwards. Orange painted cardstock triangular shapes are attached with brass nails giving off a very intense, visceral sort of 'gut' feeling. It is stamped with Osvaldo's signature hot wax seal and the title is both on the top and drawer, with sample cards also displayed on the side of the box.

Each deck set has a signed & numbered signature card in lovely handwritten calligraphy on specialty paper. The deck is wonderfully illustrated and the artwork is mounted on thick cardstock with a dark brown paper wrapping around to the front of the cards and folded down at each corner, giving it a classy, antique look. This very limited edition, hand-crafted collectable comes in two sizes (details below). A personal favorite of Osvaldo's handmade sets, it would be a treasure in any Tarot art collection! This set became available in 2009.

Currently three versions  are available:
Two versions come in handcrafted boxes while a third; more reasonably priced set, comes with a large sized deck in a decorated cardboard box and is also a numbered, limited edition set (of 250).

1) Large Size Box: Approximately 8 in. tall x 5 inches wide, 20 cm x 12 cm.
Cards: 6'' long x 4'' wide - 15.25 cm x 10 cm.
Only 36 signed and numbered sets will be made.
Price: €250. (U.S. $350 ~ $385. depending on exchange rate) does not include P&H

2) Smaller Size Box: Approximately 8" L x 3 inches W, 20.32 cm x 7.62 cm.
Cards: 3 1/2" long x 2 1/4'' wide - 8.9 cm x 5.75 cm
Only 36 signed and numbered sets will be made.

3) Large Deck in Decorated Cardboard Box: 7" L x 4.5 inches W, 17.78 cm x 11.43 cm. Cards: 5 1/2" long x 4'' wide - 14 cm x 10.16 cm

This version comes with an Empress and Temperance card that may be the same imagery as found in the version above or may contain instead a different version of either card (or both). In other words, there are 2 versions available of the Empress and Temperance cards and this set will contain either kind, depending on your destiny. The different Empress and Temperance cards are shown below. So in total, there are the 22 Major Arcana plus the signature card.
Cards are semi-gloss and are printed on thin cardstock. They should withstand gentle shuffling.
Backs appear to be (Osvaldo's?) thumbprint and are nearly reversible (see image below).

Artwork from handcrafted set is glued onto thick cardstock with a brown paper wrapping around to the front and folded down at each corner, giving it a classy, vintage style.
